Shavain Z. Benedict is our Elder Law Client Services Coordinator. She has been with JacksonWhite since January 2006. Her role at JacksonWhite is to assist unbefriended elderly clients with their financial affairs, including reconciling their bank accounts, paying their monthly bills and managing their incoming mail. Shavain acts as a main point of contact for our social services team working out in the field, as well as provides administrative and clerical support to them. She facilitates contact between various health care facilities and our social workers to ensure continuity of service. She receives all incoming calls from our social service clients and implements a plan of action to ensure the client is put in contact with the correct person to help resolve their issue as quickly as possible.
Shavain graduated from the University of Phoenix with a bachelor's degree in business management. She has worked with the elderly population for the past 10 years. She began her career in the health care field where she previously assisted in the management of a private medical practice. Shavain enjoys working with the elderly population and strives to serve their needs.
Shavain has served the community through her volunteer work at Mesa Senior Services and Mesa United Way.
