Tammy Jo Granado joined Jackson White Elder Law Services as an Elder Care Coordinator in 2005. She provides education and acts as a resource for the communities in the East Valley and Southern Arizona.
Prior to joining Jackson White, Tammy Jo worked for the Area Agency on Aging, Region One, as their Respite Case Manager as well as their Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Specialist. She provided case management, conducted psychosocial assessments, assisted with long-term care needs such as ALTCS and was responsible for setting up and monitoring in-home care and Adult Day Health Center services.
As a graduate of California State University Long Beach, Tammy Jo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. She also holds a graduate certificate in Gerontology from Arizona State University West. In addition to her experience working with the senior population, Tammy Jo has worked with children as a learning center coordinator for the Arizona Department of Juvenile Corrections and provided training in independent living skills for teenage mothers and their children through Catholic Social Service. She was also responsible for running a monthly support group for grandparents raising their grandchildren and assisted grandparents with counseling and custody issues.
In her spare time, Tammy Jo and her husband enjoy activities with their young son, Max.
