Jill A. Preston is the Elder Care Services Administrator for JacksonWhite and currently handles statewide outreach but focuses in Northern Arizona. Jill’s knowledge base of the community services available to the elderly, especially the ALTCS/AHCCCS programs, makes her a great asset to the JacksonWhite Elder Law team. She is available to help professionals, families and potential members understand and maneuver through the ALTCS/AHCCCS system and other senior services.
Jill graduated from Willamette University in Salem Oregon with a bachelor’s degree in geriatric psychology. Jill has been in the medical social work field for over fifteen years. She has been the Outreach and Development Coordinator for one of Maricopa County’s ALTCS program contractors as well as an ALTCS Case Manager, serving members both in nursing homes and in home and community based settings. Jill is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Arizona Geriatric Society. She is also a newly appointed member of the Regional Leadership Council for the Alzheimer’s Association. Jill is an advocate for the elderly and has a strong desire to assist the senior community through education and passionate reassurance about the options available.
Jill has served the community in a number of various capacities including working as the director of a youth and family resource center, a support group leader for families who had experienced pregnancy loss, and a social services coordinator in skilled nursing facilities.
