Services Available to ALTCS Recipients

Those applying for ALTCS oftentimes have confusion about what services are available to them.  This can cause people to not apply for ALTCS until they have already missed out on assistance.  Understanding the full range of benefits available through ALTCS can help applicants relieve a significant amount of financial strain.

A number of services are available to ALTCS members.  Services are available to ALTCS recipients in their home, in assisted living facilities and in skilled nursing facilities.  In addition to daily assistance, ALTCS members are eligible to receive acute care services.  Doctor visits, hospitalization, adult day care, personal care, respite care and even housekeeping services are available.
