ALTCS Members Must Find A Contracted Facility

ALTCS rules and policies can be complicated.  Applicants must meet strict requirements to become eligible for the benefit.  Once approved for the benefit, applicants must continue to abide by ALTCS rules in order to receive assistance.  It is important that ALTCS members understand the pertinent rules so that they receive benefits they have been approved for. 

In this regard, it is important for ALTCS members to know what a contracted facility is.  Each ALTCS member works with a program contractor to receive services.  The program contractor will provide the member with a list of contracted facilities from which the member can receive services.  The member can only get services covered under ALTCS at one of these contracted facilities.
