So, get to it! Why Are Social Workers Important to You???
Happy Social Work Month from JacksonWhite Elder Law!!!
I think Social Workers are important because they patient and have to deal with today’s issues.
I think social workers are important because they make futures brighter. They advocate for those that may be unable to do so for themselves, or have no willing family. They provide compassion, empathy, and patience to those in need. Social workers are often the light in a world otherwise dark, confusing, and overwhelming world.
Well, I am biased because I am a social worker, but I think the work we do with and on behalf of clients is tremendously important. We are able to see the big picture, how all the systems society has in place affects clients, and also how individual behavior affects quality of life. We help clients help themselves to improve their lives and that’s seeing people at their best! One elderly client put it to me this way: Social Workers are a Lifeline, there to guide, support, and connect. Thanks for this blog and yea for Social Worker month!
