Bonnie Shimko

Bonnie Shimko joined JacksonWhite in 2011 as an Elder Care Advisor.
Previous to JacksonWhite, Bonnie was an area SOP for ABRiO Care, and opened two offices for them in Yavapai County. There she managed in home non-medical care with a staff of over 60 people. Bonnie has also been a director of adult group homes, a care coordinator for seniors with special needs, and has assisted in opening adult day centers. Bonnie is a passionate social worker and has specialized in senior care for most of her professional career.

Community and Other Activities: Bonnie is a certified Senior Care Advisor. She is also an active member of many organizations in the community. Bonnie is a board member of the Community Partnership for Comfort Care, Northern Arizona Senior Action Coalition, Amedisys Home Health Care, Rusty’s Morning Star Ranch (ranch for severely autistic men), and Kids Against Hunger.

Bonnie is a 2010 graduate of Verde Valley Leadership. Bonnie loves to spend time with her husband, daughters, and grandchildren. On her spare time she enjoys Zumba, reading, and gardening.
